From “War Memoranda: Photography, Walt Whitman, and Renewal,” an exhibit of Binh Danh’s and Robert Schultz’s leafprints of Whitman, Civil War soldiers, Vietnam War soldiers, and daguerreotype and cyanotype photographs of battlefields and memorials. This word and art exhibition, which includes poetry by Whitman and Schultz, is ongoing at the Taubman Museum of Art, Roanoke, Virginia, from February 7 through May 23, 2015, and will then travel to the University of Rochester Memorial Art Gallery later this summer.
