Abstract
Explores the role of memory in "Out of the Cradle Endlessly Rocking" as a force that unites "psychological" and "mystical" readings of the poem, and argues that the poem "demonstrate(s) that uniting of here and hereafter in memory is a sort of mystical experience available to all that can break down our mental barriers."
