Two Pieces of Uncollected Whitman Journalism: "Washington as a Central Winter Residence" and "The Authors of Washington"

Abstract

Identifies and reprints two previously unrecorded Whitman newspaper articles published in the Washington Evening Star in 1872, and demonstrates their connections to Whitman manuscripts housed in Yale University's Beinecke Library.
