Biography
Shri Vishalini Rajaram is an accomplished ComputationalBiologist and Human Toxicologist, currently a PhD candidate at the Universityof Iowa. With a deep interest in toxicoinformatics and bioinformatics, herresearch primarily focuses on the oral microbiome and its complex interactions,using multi-omics approaches. Vishalini has a rich background in sciencecommunication, effectively demystifying complex scientific concepts for abroader audience through blogs, stage plays, and poetry. She holds notableskills in microbiome analysis, Python programming, and science communicationand is fluent in multiple languages, including English and Tamil. Her work hasbeen recognized with honors and awards, and she has published variousscientific papers and creative works highlighting her diverse expertise.Additionally, Vishalini has been the brain behind the start-up Build GeeksPrivate Limited and has held various roles in research and writing, showcasingher versatility and commitment to advancing scientific knowledge andinnovation.
