Abstract
"Research at UIowa: A Comic Series" is a showcase of student research at the University of Iowa described in eight comics. These comics were organized by the University of Iowa student organization Connecting Science to Society and funded by the National Science Policy Network. Here, we introduce Connecting Science to Society, the National Science Policy Network, and Synthesis: A Digital Journal of Student Science Communication with the cover pages to this comic series.
